I'd go with the 50 count humidor, with 65% beads - kept in the house at a fairly even temperature around 70 degrees. The regular humi in the car is a bad idea as stjohnroe points out.
Travel humi's are fine, but not for long term storage (they dry out fairly quickly). When you transport cigars from one place to another, use a heavy duty zip lock freezer bag. It'll keep the moisture in, and keep the cigars fairly well protected. Or, as CigarSarge suggests, get a 3 finger case. They're fairly cheap, and do the job!
