If the relative humidity in Hawaii is fairly high (which it must be) you probably needn't be concerned about your cigars drying out.

As long as the humidity is running above 65% or so I would just keep them in a zip-loc bag in some place out of the sun and where it is relatively cool. If you have air conditioning it's a different story. The AC will dry the room AND the cigars. In that instance Roham's suggestion of the zip-loc and a small piece of damp cotton would work fine.
