I would be a little wary of my cigars bumping around in a carved humi... Foam has that "they're secure, no worries" feel to it.

I guess i just like the cedar, a lot. and i'm not a big fan of the otter boxes. Don't get me wrong, the otter boxes work fine, but they seem a little... low-class? (i guess is the best word) for premium cigars and the combined smell of nice tobacco and spanish cedar... ahhh... soo nice. I'm working on having the best of both worlds, and have a secure --yet spanish cedar surrounded-- living space for the travelling cigar. That is my dream, and if nothing else, i'll have a custom humidor that i will thoroughly enjoy.
You could line the interior with spanish cedar, but, have foam dividers. You don't want the cigars rolling around with no protection.
50 sticks? Wow. That's a long trip.
That's not saying you are going to smoke that many while on vacation, but if you are like me I enjoy to visit the local cigar shops and bring back lots of goodies!! Always need extra room for those!Originally Posted by TN_CIGAR_MAN
