Friday I will tally up results and tell you all who won the bet, what the bet was, and why it came about. Sorry I gotta be vague but it will make sense in the end.

    thanks
Now maybe we can all have a side bet on what your original bet was. The winner could get a free box of Padron 1926, paid for by cigarsmokers.com.
I predict the bet was how many people on this board would actually respond to, and expound on, a question about the simple act of bringing fire in contact with a cigar.

Of course if I'm right, I just hijacked your thread, which will affect the results.

    Default Usually......

a wooden match but only because I have a load of them around from all the shops, etc.

However, if and when I do use a lighter it's a jet baby. And it's cool too. My buddy got it for me (as a gag sort of ) when he stopped into one of JR's shops on a trip south last year. When you light it the base lights up with a load of flashing L.E.D.s! The damndest thing though......it has lasted very well and hasn't failed yet!

I think I have that SAME lighter... I got it free with my Xikar cutter (gotta love eBay).

Aside from being butt-ugly, it's a nice little lighter!

Coventry's answer is his Zippo. So, add to the pile a regular Zippo lighter.

As long as I don't have to rub two sticks together to get it going I'm happy.

Definately Torch, while normal lighters work, they aren't as versatile and you can use torches just about anywhere.
