Thread: Can someone identify this cigar for me?

Default Can someone identify this cigar for me?

I smoked this tonight. It wasn't BAD or anything, but the smoke was very light. I think I prefer thick plumes of it.

Excuse the horrid quality of my brother's web cam:

(in white lettering is "A. Fuente", which I presume is for Arturo Fuente - but which? It was wrapped in cello and presumably machine-pressed.)

can't really tell from the pic. do you know the ring gauge or length? color of the cigar? that would help alot in figuring it out.

It looks like an underwater photo of one of the Titanic's famous "unsmoked cigars".
    Too humid even for beetles.

BTW, here's a reproduction of the Titanic's Cigar Room.

It's about 6.5 inches long and relatively thin to other cigars I have smoked, but not too noticeably skinny (if it is at all). The wrapper is a "natural" colour I would think.

Looks like the Arturo Fuentes pigtail. The cigar goes for well less than $3 retail. A very mild and uneventful smoke, but not bad for the price.

It appears to me to be a Fuente Curlyhead... Not a bad smoke for the money, but as Kenyth describes it - "very uneventful"....

    Default Well........

I have to agree on the Curlyhead....BUT....

I've smoked a few in years past and found them to be repulsive!

And I'm a BIG Fuente Fan!

    Repulsive? Well......OK...."uneventful"

    I'll never buy any again!

I think it is the ultra rare A. Feunte fuzzy. Only a few were made because the factory couldn't get them to focus properly..........
