as I posted earlier, the I in spanish is pronounced the same as the e in see. To be correct, Siglo is pronounced, see - glow. In Americanish, sig-lo is the pronunciation.
How about "Ligero"?
I visited Ybor City, FLA last month and met Felix of Tampa Cigar. Felix is a native Cuban.
Felilx pronouonces ligero "LI - YER - OH" almost like the spanish "J" pronounced as an English "H".
I have always thought it was a hard G as in "Gut".
Opinions?
I think that it's supposed to have a softer g sound, with mroe emphasis on the surrounding vowels, and maby his accent, you could just hardly hear it. Just my assumption.
