Good work and reviews 1101. You are absolutely right on the more expensive cigar! The smokes were:

    Cigar #1

Prelight - square pressed dark wrapper(maduro) looked great, had nice aroma and average draw.

1st Third - The cigar lit easy with no touch-ups, perfect draw(for me). Very pleasant taste from the first puff. I detected a little spice with some floral notes. It seemed medium bodied to me. Nice medium gray ash and a good worry free burn.

2nd Third - The perfect draw continued along with a great burn. The cigar seemed to pick up a little more spice and become slightly more full bodied(still what I would call medium). Overall pleasant taste and enjoyable with no harshness.

Last Third - Still a perfect draw and no burn issues. The flavor remained the same but seemed to return to a medium bodied smoke. With about two inches left it started quitting on me. I let it die a good death.

Overall a good cigar that I would buy depending on the price.

    Cigar #2

Prelight - Dark square pressed same size as cigar #1, about 5 & 1/2". Had a barnyard smell to it. The cap was a little rough but held up after the cut.

1st Third - Easy light not touch-ups, draw was a little tight. It had a woodsy earthy taste with not much spice to it. I would say it was on the lighter side of medium bodied. Nice firm light gray ash.

2nd Third - Good worry free burn, draw was still just a little tighter than I prefer but didn't detract from the cigar. Flavor and strength didn't change much, still one dimentional with some hint of cedar.

Last Third - Same as the first two, it started getting a little bitter towards the end.

Overall an average cigar at best, I prefer a little more spice. The weather wasn't the best so I'm not sure if I smoked this one under ideal conditions.

    Final Conclusion

I enjoyed cigar #1 more, I would say it was the more expensive of the two.

    Guesses:
Cigar #1 - maybe an I.T. Super Fuerte
Cigar #2 - I'm lost on this one.
