    Post New to forum

After reading your forums for the last few weeks I decided to join in and be a part. So I will introduce myself to you. I have smoked cigars for many years infrequently until about six months ago I decided to give up cigarettes. I could not let my very small stash of cigars go to waste so after a week I started to smoke on them. Man was I surprised at how good they tasted when my mouth was not all fouled by menthol!
Cigar smoking suits me well, I can work all day with a inexpensive cigar in my mouth drawing just enough to keep it lit and then in the evening I can sit back with a beer and enjoy a good cigar while I relax. Or I can get on the computer and read all the stuff you guys talk about with a good smoke, either way its all good.
I do have a problem with some people and my 'stinky' cigars so where do you go to find cigar smokers to socialize with besides the tobacco store? Any way I enjoy reading the post from you guys and I will put in my comments on ocassion also. One thing I believe is that life is too short to smoke bad cigars.

Someday you'll be in a bar with a bunch of smoker's and just when your about to light your cigar , someone will complain . So , I smoke on my front porch and at work . I happen to work with a bunch of cigarette smoker's , so if they complain I tell them to piss off .

Welcome! I am still pretty new here but I like this place a lot and am sure you will too.

I am currently in the process of searching the area for a place to congregate with other stogie smokers and share the smoke. I have had no luck yet. I have a buddy who has an idea of trying to open a kind of modern day "speak-easy" in the area. I am considering going in with him and creating my own little 'cigar lounge'/gathering place. I have never really thought about it much until recently, though I have owned my own business a couple of times. This does seem like something that I would enjoy a lot more. We'll see.

Welcome, but your punctuation is horrific. If you are to succeed, you need to excel in the area of literacy. Beware... "The Cat" is on the prowl and he has his red pen out.

Don't pay any attention to this guy. He's on his way out the door here and has an axe to grind. For the most part, this is a very enjoyable community (with the exception of the occasional troublemaker like fpdoc87).

Thats the funny part...for some reason Cat brought the whole thing back up. He called me names and insulted me personally. I never once insulted the guy. I took it in stride and Im having playful sparring with him. Personally I wont be anyones whipping boy. If he wants to ban me...or try to get me banned or whatever fine. I have done nothing warranting a ban. But since this is a popularity contest instead of a community then I probably am on my way out. That will make me really sad.

    LMFAO!! Revisionist history!!

Your posts and actions here speak for themselves fpdoc and your continued lying doesn't cast you in a very good light either. I see, since you can't seem to fit into the "community" you slam it by calling it a "popularity contest", pretty lame

Now getting back to the matter at hand which is welcoming BunkyX to CigarSmokers, you are witnessing first hand how undesirable elements (that would be fpdoc) are dealt with here, we basically let them dig their own holes and let members like you decide for yourself who are the good people to interact and deal with here and who are not.

fpdoc is in the latter group......
