I'm probably not the only one who has concerns about their unwrapped cigars affecting the taste of one another. Anyone know where I can buy a bunch of cellophane wrappers to put my unprotected sticks in?

However, your concerns about unwrapped cigars affecting the taste of one another is an urban legend unless some of your cigars are flavored cigars. If that's the case, don't even put them in the same humidor with your real cigars.

All I could find on there was pill bottles and jars and stuff. Am I overlooking the cellophane?

This is going to sound silly, but try using saran wrap and tape.
I've used it a few times when I needed to ensure the protection of my cigars and it's worked like a charm.

Those look cool. I'll have to get some. As for saran wrap, I thought of this, but was afraid it might be to air-tight, but I guess you didn't experience any trouble with it godfather?

Don't worry too much about your uncello'd sticks...
I do leave the cellos on, but if a particular stick doesn't come wrapped in cellophane, it just lays there nekkid.
Maybe that's why I have a wood-top humi. Too many nekkid cigars!
how about saving the cello from smoked cigars...smoke one..fill cello...rinse..repeat
That's what I do.Originally Posted by bigpoppapuff

Saran Wrap is definitely an air permeable material, just go with that.Originally Posted by WhiteWidow
Roll a little of it around the cigar, cut the ends of the saran wrap (if it's too long), tape 'em and you're good to go.
Works great and it's protected my cigars just fine the few times I've needed to. Sounds silly, but it gets the job done just fine.

I have both wrapped and unwrapped and never have any problems with any of my smokes.
Do you place the two right next to each other in your humi? You don't experience any "marrying" of your smokes?Originally Posted by Lopaka

Marrying is pretty much a myth. You can place two cigars next to each other, one being the lightest of lights and the the other being very strong and you will not experience any flavors crossing over. If you put a very light colored cigar touching a very dark maduro over time you may see dark colors fading over onto the light colored cigar, but odds are you will never experience a flavor change.
Guys.. I have a problem...
My cigars arnt in cello.. but i have them in seperate humidor's... One in Virgina, the other in georgia... Will the cigars be ok, or will the flavors get al messed up? Cuz my brother said that once his Camel light and his Winston 100's got maried and became one cigarette... then they had offspring.. and it was a swissher sweet...
Hey Mavido I was wondering in NC do they still have a problem with everyone dumping hog shit into the water and killing everything?

Sorry if that came out wrong, I was actually curious if that was still a problem there. What I will make fun of, however, is your barbecue. I mean what is that, barf with mustard and coleslaw thrown on top?

My dad used to live out in Greenville so I spent a couple of summers up there, and the hogs were a big deal at the time. And everyone had a big hard-on for the BBQ. I ordered some on accident once and I didn't know what the hell it was, and most of the people I met didn't know what a brisket was.
