Apple releases the Shuffle and everyone buys 2.
I've got a shuffle and that thing is pretty cool surprisingly. You can plug it in and it fills up automatically with random songs from your collection, then you can play them in random order. Since I got it I've discovered songs I didn't even really know I had on my computer. Got the 1 GB version for under a hundred bucks
    End of line.

I've seen my music collection. I don't want anything randomly choosing songs from it. :)

    Next: Gregorian Chant

  3. Default i pods arn't worth it

I bought a dell dj for around 200. Mine holds 30 gig but they have a 1 gig , 15 gig or the 30 gig. Then i pay 15 a month for a service called rhapsody which allows me to transfer as much music legally as i want to my device. It doesn't work with all mp3 players though. rhapsody works great and has every band i have searched for except the beatles and led zepplin... which i barrowed cds from my friends.

I have a Shuffle and I really enjoy it. Got it from the wife for Valentine's Day and it is simple to use and great for when I go running or skiing.
I'd love to get the big Kahuna (60 gig), no need for the video feature as on the latest, but to be able to transfer the majority of my music from vehicle to vehicle without damaging or losing cd's would rule. Thumbs up.

I have a 20 GB from last year that I bought myself for Christmas. I didnt really take care of it so it went out in less than a year, but my warranty gave me a brand new for free. No shipping charges, or anything. I have been please with product and customer service. the customer service was the icing on the cake. If you can get your hands on one, then buy it. I reccommend the 20 gig if you have a nice music library.

My music library is shite, and my cellphone has an mp3 player built into it. Once my 128meg flashcard comes in the mail I'll be set.

got a 4 Gb Nano in September. Has been missing in action since October; it's so small!!
Found it Sunday in my sock drawer--where it should have been anyway. Love the size; will obviously be more careful. Funny thing, one of my son's friends "misplaced" his nano over the weekend--called all houses and restaurants where they were; found it in his room. Another friend "lost" his in his briefcase for a while. There's a lesson here; they should build in an alarm that responds to a clap of something.

    You guys are nuts....

I just can't see myself carrying one around honestly. I burn cds of songs that I don't want to buy the cd of, and if I like the entire cd after downloading it, I buy it in the record store. I've got almost every Dave Matthews Band album, and if I downloaded them, it just wouldn't be the same....

What do you do if the computer crashes and the ipod has a fit and deletes everything? I guess if I put a gig card on my pocket pc I could use that, but I'd rather put porn and clips of chapelle show

    You guys pay for music?!??!?!
    Fight the system!
