Anyone have any experience with this:

Cigar Oasis Plus XL

I like the sound of it, but looking for some real input. How big a humidor do I need to fit it?

How big is your humi ? There should be a fact page somewhere on their site with size recommendations . Try using the search function on this board for any others with experience . They do make a battery model now so you don't have to run a cord out to a outlet . They do seem nice , but I would use the beads from heartfeltindustries.com , unless you have a cabinet that could benefit from the air circulation . I don't have one or know anyone who does . The consensus here seems to be for the beads , they work very well and almost maintenance free .

I have used numerous oasis for over 5 years. In my opinion it the best device on the market and is very affordable.

If you're really serious about keeping a constant %H then get one.

If you have a desktop, then the non-XL is fine. The XL is for a bigger cabinets.

However, I have an XL in my moderate sized Upmann desktop because I got a great price on it at overstock.com

It works perfectly.

The non-xl model as a thin film of plastic that drops over the cartridge holes when the fan is off. This prevents over-humidification due to abmient evaporation. If your desktop humidor is small skip the XL model.

Don't forget about the 1/2 cartridge that is also available.
