    Default Bcs Bowls

Anybody else ready for the BIG 4? I know i sure as hell am and here are my predictions:

Rose: USC by a small margin(7-10)...Texas better hope to contain two amazing backs in LenDale White and Reggie Bush and Young is gonna have to get going on the ground early!

Orange: Florida State in a last second/minute win....this is truly a battle of the coaches!

Sugar: Georgia will win here in a small to marginal victory...it has the "home" field advantage, WV doesnt deserve to be in a BCS bowl IMHO....i am not big into this bowl as much as the other three but i will watch it all the same.

Fiesta: Notre Dame in a marginal win(10+)...Brady Quinn and Jeff Samardzija are gonna tear it up and its gonna be hard to contain Darius Walker and Rashon Powers-Neal.

    Anyone else have any feelings/predictions?

Sorry Bill, I gotta agree with Drew and go with USC on this one. Too many weapons.

Actually, the Rose Bowl is the one I feel the least strongly about but come freakin' on, Florida State over Penn State? and Notre Dame over Ohio State?

Penn State is ranked third in the country and Ohio State is 4th.

Georgia LOST to Florida (yeah Moheganson!), LOST to Auburn (yeah Shagaroo!), BARELY beat South Carolina (DAMN we almost had this one CockyHoskins ) and got lucky against LSU in the SEC title game.

Sorry but Auburn is the best team in the SEC this year and fuggen Georgia is going to the Sugar Bowl

West Virginia is tough and I think they can handle Georgia.

Back to the Rose Bowl, I'm still not ALL that impressed with USC. Texas played a tougher schedule and tougher teams and destroyed all of them with the exception of Ohio State (gee no kidding, Ohio State has a great team this year).

Anytime USC plays a ranked team (AZ State, ND, Fresno State) they are competitive games.

Again, I still see Texas winning the Rose Bowl.

Then again, I talk all this smack and if you guys knew my past history on picking college bowl games...............(you would be laughing even HARDER at me than you already are, LMAO!)

I agree with CC, Texas will beat USC. What goes up must come down eventually. Nortre Dame almost pulled it off against the Trojans earlier in the year and Texas is a far more consistant team.

I also agree about Georgia being over-rated. Most teams from that region are. Look what the almost .500 team (U of Utah- Running Utes) did to the ranked Georgia Tech squad yesterday. No, I am not a Utes fan, but it was a very intersting upset.

No bets from me, BPP. I, too, like Penn State in this matchup.

You got WV right...they beat Georgia....however Wisconsin beat Auburn.

Although, I'm still confused how #22 Florida State goes against #3 Penn State!

ACC Champ is an automatic bid to the BCS/Orange Bowl, EXCEPT the years that the Orange Bowl is the National Championship game. Fla. State WON the ACC championship (don't aks me how but they did, kinda like how the FOCK did Georgia win the SEC title but nonetheless, they did). The match up is the most worthy opponent they could find that would accept the bid to play there. #3 in the nation is indeed the most worthy opponent NOT already bound by their league championship to a certain bowl.

However it looks like NEXT year, there will be an additional National Championship game.

"barely escaped"? LMAO!! Wasn't it 28-0 early on? Yes, Georgia got themselves back into it but THEY LOST.

Gotta love that fake punt by WVa late in the game!!

Sooo they are going to add another bowl to the list? So instead of a 4 bowl rotation, it's turning into a 5 bowl rotation?

Orrr are they doing something like a playoff system?
