Madman_Scotty has spoken....
Scotty wrote up a myth/fact post in his blog. In all fairness, the REAL truth should be known about madman_scotty... And seeing as how we can't post on his blog to refute what was written - we should do the next best thing... Address it here in the Politics section - pirmarily because scotty has chosen to call out CC:
SFG75 named a pass the "FUCP pass"
Myth (what scott writes): While on LTC's chatboard with Purobrat, SFG75 made a comment about naming it the "FUCP pass" The exact next line was from SFG75 that said: "Just kidding, I'll name it the "LTC spring forward pass." SFG75 was having computer problems and had to have another person post "puts" and "takes" for a pass that he was in. Utilizing the situation, CC posted the first line of the message, but purposely omitted the next line indicating it was a joke. CC knowingly LIED about this interaction. Ultimately, that's what the pass came to be known as. It was a joke, nothing more, and that's what constituted such a serious *problem* on cigar pass, go figure. Don't believe me?, e-mail Purobrat.
Fact (the REAL truth): SFG75 DID create a pass called the Fuck You CigarPass (FUCP). While scotty claims it was a "joke", the reason for this pass was to snub CigarPass after becoming an asshole mod on LetsTalkCigars (CigarPass members were very much abused by scotty while he was a mod). When asked about it in chat with the site owner, Rod, scott was summarily banned from CigarPass based upon his response to Rod. While we do not have the original chat log, clearly whatever scott said to Rod caused his immediate banning. Rod is a very even-handed, fair site owner, so it must have been REAL good!!!
SFG75 is a condescending ass who abuses people
Myth (what scott writes): As a moderator on a board, people were treated fairly and had three "strikes" before being banned. Only the admin had powers to ban and the infractions were kept on a post that only mods could see. I operated according to the admin's wishes. The resulting flaming and ISP abuse that people did is hypocritical, as they whine about it happening to CSmokers, but think nothing of it when they do it. Yes, negative stuff has been said between CC and I, but you wouldn't be happy either if you were chased from thread to thread and had pornographic images of you posted everywhere.
Fact (the REAL truth): Scotty came into LetsTalkCigars and quickly leg-humped his way into the mod position. As soon as he was named mod, scotty posted up the following picture in his signature:
Now why would scotty post up "Justice is Coming"? Because scotty made it his personal mission at LetsTalkCigars to attack anyone and everyone who disagreed with him, or HE FELT acted contrary to the way scotty wanted them to act (a "condescending ass who abuses people"). And it carries on into the most recent past. Scotty refuses to explain the "Carthago Delenda Est" he had in his signature while he was a member here. Upon researching the slogan, an ominous parallel is drawn. "Carthage Must be Destroyed" is what it truly means - and scotty posted it as a war cry in destroying CigarPass and it's members. CigarPass was his scotty's Waterloo - his being banned from that site haunts him to this day - and in his mind - he will be victorious...
SFG75 is banned from everywhere
Myth (what scott writes):The cigar pass reason was strictly for a false reason as outlined above. CSnobs was also more of a "we don't like this person" kind of thing for banning. I'm on three different cigar boards, a book forum, and numerous debate boards. Unless the admin is a lackey for CC, I do just fine. See how long you would last if you had people strictly on your ass simply because they have a vendetta against you.

Myth (what scott writes): CC got banned from America's debate under a different moniker due to abusing another member of the board during a drug legalization debate thread. I never knew of it until Bill PM'd me, complaining about Jaime, whom he falsely labels a "liberal." Jaime is an independent and more often than note, is conservative on most issues IMHO. CC also got banned from thecigarforum.com, but the admin has been nice enough to bring him back on board. The rules are strict on America's debate, but as long as you back up what you say and don't get personal with folks, you are o.k. That explains why I've been a member there for over two years with no strikes. If I was truly an asshole like CC says I am, I would've been history there long ago.
Fact (the REAL truth): Being banned from America's Debate is not in the least bit difficult. All you have to do is disagree with the FOG's there, and they will ban. Because scotty is such a great leg-humper, he's found himself a home. TheCigarForum is brand spaning new. CC was temporarily banned while the initial fog of trying to figure out what he was about cleared. He has since been reinstated and apologies were made. Scotty, on the other hand, has been banned (along with his buddy from stogiechat porridge) when it was clear he was trolling and attempting to cause dissent amongst the membership (the usual scotty we know and love).
CC just warns "the community" about people
Myth (what scott writes): When CC gets it in his head that he doesn't like you, you are screwed. Look at Mr. Jingles. The guy did nothing wrong, but was harassed by CC for a long time. Inspite of a "FOG or no FOG" warning, CC continued the issue on a new post on CP without so much a whisper from the admin. once again, if he can bamboozle the admin to be his toady, then he gets his way, right or wrong.
Fact (the REAL truth): How do you answer this. Clearly, "SFG75 is a condescending ass". The above response is as great an example of who scotty really is. Of course, this whole fact/myth thing is a great example. In one example, scotty disagrees that CC is welcomed everywhere. Then he says CC "bamboozle's the admin to be his toady". You can't possibly have it both ways, scotty...
SFG75 is an asshat.
Myth (what scott writes):SFG75 doesn't mind what others think or do. He doesn't chase others and harass them. Neither does he have three pages of posts relating to CC like CC does of him. The person with the vendetta is CC, not SFG75.
Fact (the REAL truth): Aside from his overwhelming showi8ng in the ("Asshat of the Year" polling, scotty goes where ever he can to cause controversy. The difference between scotty and CC is that CC is very direct in his assessments. Scotty, on the other hand, posts useless nonsense, leg-humping, assinine posts in order to draw the ire of whomever he can. He tries very hard to create a situation where he looks like the victim and CC and others look like bullies. This was VERY clear when he posted on CigarWeekly that Opus X's are "Bland", "Mild" and "Tasteless". He also recommended someone smoke Macanudo's while he was a member at Cigar Rebellion, and then later admitted he'd never smoked a Macanudo. He admits to gaining insight into cigars through his readings of "An Idiot's Guide to Cigars". He starts a contest on this board with the FULL intent of screwing the actual winner. He smokes very cheap, low-end cigars, yet continually professes vast knowledge about super premiums. Do I need to go on....
scotty's Advice to CP newbies. If you value your membership at CP, do not ever disagree with CC or his buddies. Shut your trap and mind your business, nodding the whole time. You do not have a right to your own opinion and if you express it, expect hell. Deal with cigars, joke around, but whatever you do-don't disagree!. Hope this helps.
My advice to scotty: Quit being such an ass, if you can find it within yourself to do so. Take your meds... Go to counseling... Do whatever you have to do to clear up your "issues". I'm fast realizing there's little hope you'll ever be any kind of respectable person of consequence on legit cigar boards if you continue on your present course. I don't see why you are so clueless about it - you are very much viewed with disdain almost universally within the cigar board community. CC has not done that for you - you are fully responsible for your own demise.
