I'll wake up an old thread to add my 19 cents...
Prelight draw was fantastic with that spicy "red hot" taste that I love. Very nice amount of smoke even though the draw was just a tad too tight. Initial tastes were spice, coffee, and peat - oh wait the peat came from the delicious 12 year Caol Ila I was drinking. Definitely a strong stick, so I took my time. I think the total smoking time was 1.5 hours (I nubbed it). Ash held firm for 1.5 inches and was light gray with a few black stem lines. After the ash fell and I was in the 2nd third I needed to do a little re-fire action to get the burn back on track. Tastes mellowed a bit and the spice dropped off, but that coffee taste remained. Strength fell into the Medium realm. The scotch went well with this cigar. Final third picked up in strength and the coffee taste started giving way to a nice wood taste, maybe bark?

I'll pick up a fiver for sure, but probably won't get a box. Looking at prices online this stick is well worth the money. I'd rate the Camacho triple maddie and JdN Dark Corojo higher, but not by much. Nice work Oliva, thanks for the stick Jamie!
