    Default Road Trip

    Hey Guys

I am going to be making a road trip from here (Alberta) down to Tijuana . I am allowed to bring back 50 cigars. Where would the best place be to pick them up from? I am not looking for something other than cubans. They are a dime a dozen up here. I am really interested in maybe picking up a box of those RYJ 'special editions', and possibly a box of those Opus X cigs that I have heard so much about. Would if be more worth it for me to buy from the states at a slight premium compared to Tijuana? I have heard that Tijuana is full of fakes. Does anyone know of a really good shop on the western part of the states, preferably on or near I-15? I will be going down the end of March and want to stock up because I am just tired of paying $20+ for a low-mid grade.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess your not going to find any boxes of opus x.

But there are a number of other cigars that are great you can stock up on.

Where do people manage to acquire theirs from?

Any suggestions on some boxes that I can buy for ~150-200/box that would be kind of special. Not your run-of-the mill smokes. Not looking for cubans. Something unique. But keep in mind I'm a total n00b and am amazed by a cigar that comes in an aluminum tube

Does anyone know of any decent shops to purchase some rare/special sticks from that isn't going to gouge me too badly? Somewhere between Alberta and Los Angeles.
