Thread: Hail to the President!

  1. Default Hail to the President!

    Hey All;

I was just wondering what my American friends think about the potential of Hilary Clinton running for President in 2008? Anyone have any opinions? Would she be a good candidate?

    WTF???

The potential of Hillary Clinton running for President is zero....in fact, I don't know what the "potential" of a person is.

However, if you were to ask whether Hillary Clinton, the person, were to run for President, I have a hunch she will, if not in '08 then in '12.

Whether she would make a good President, you might want to ask a New Yorker about her track record. Or even jump on that keyboard and do some research; you don't have to be a US citizen to look shit up. That might be more indicative to her Presidential potential.

I'm a Democrat and I wouldn't vote for her. She is just too bitchy for me. Is that a good reason not to vote for somebody?

Yes. Although I have other reasons for not voting for her.

She has never really struck me as a calm and collected leader....... It seems like, as Hefty said, she is a bit bitchy......

Although the female vote could really pull in her favor, The hype around the first American female President would definitly be big.

    Another useless thread
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

She will have tough competition since I intend to run for President in 08.

I like Hillary Clinton. I think she's a strong leader and I like her stance on a lot of things.

Do I think she can win the Presidency? No.

Mass market America has a stigma against women in power. The question comes up time and time again: "Would a woman be willing to push the button". Historically, that's a rediculous question. I doubt Iron Maggie would have any qualms about doing what had to be done...

It might be entertaining to see her run, depending on who is on the other side of the ballot. If I like the Republican candidate, sure, have at it. If she's running against a jerkoff, well, minimize the risk.

    Do I like Hillary? Yep
Would I vote for her? Damn right I would.
Would I like someone else to run instead? Barack Obama and the best Demo in the world Wes Clark come to mind...

It's not election time, and while I would love to debate on how I think she would be a good/not good president, this thread is pointless.... sorry man

What ever happened to Gen. Clark? I figured he'd fare well in '04, but he just dropped right off the ticket!

I would vote for her if she promised to bring our troops home, lift the ban on cuban cigars, and sponsor my electoral run to be the emperor of the fucking universe.

This looks like the type of thread to where someone gets banned. Anyway, I know I sure as hell would not vote for her. I would vote for just about anyone before I would her. I really don't like her attitude, we have different view points on things and just like Hefty said, way too bitchy!

Yeah, that would have been an easy fight, there. It's tough to use the "tough guy" act when your opponent was commander of US forces in Europe. :)
