I would use a tupaware air tight seal with maybe ziplock bag of the cubans inside it.Maybe throw a small piece of sponge wet from distilled water and a small dry piece too.

You can actually put your cigars in the freezer. That is how you get rid of Beetles. Whe you do freeze them though, you have to bring them back very slowly in the fridge for a few weeks.

And no your cigars will not be soggy when you defrost them. There is not enough moisture in them to make them soggy.
