    yeah the door handle will definatly tell you who made it. I think they used that handle on pretty much everything.

    I KNOW I should know it, a friend of mine somewhere along the way had a car with that type of door handle. I think it's AMC.

    Is it possibly a Javelin or an AMX?

    Yeah, its an AMC.

    I can think of about six differnt models that used that door handle in a 15 year span. Jeeps used it for a long time after that also. There also very expensive now for a good set, the alloy used in it didnt age so well, I'v seen good ones sell for over $100 a pair. I luckly have three sets sitting in my shop for future use if need be.

    Yeah, its pretty easy to guess when you name the entire AMC lineup . Its a 77 AMC Gremlin X.
