I only posted here because my name got dragged into it. Once again, just as it did over at club ape.....

Agreed, Sarge. I have no idea what all this is about, no clue as to what comments were made, no clue about the the heck hex is saying (not computer savvy enough) and no idea who the rat is. What I do know is that at Smokers, Snobs and Pass there are a whole lot of confused people right now and nothing gets better when people who don't have all the information start throwing around insults. One of the things I've noticed about these 3 communities that is different than a certain other site is that the people here are made aware of what's going on.

Sam you don't know me from Adam but I recall a thread over at Snobs containing a decent sized shit storm and you were in the center of it. One of the big complaints was the fact that threads were deleted and there was no explanation for bannings. Seems like the same type of thing is happening here, minus the deleted threads. Basically you and Rod and CC have all the answers about what is going on and the people that are pissed off don't. Are they making things better by screaming Foul Foul FOul? No, but is in the hands of those with the information to make this better, get things in the open and heal this community that we love.

Wow. This has gotten out of hand fellas. I'll admit, I was quick to convict Rod after the attempt at accessing the admin portion of this site, and I may have been wrong for that. The truth is, I don't really know Rod. I've always thought him to be a good guy, but recent events have caused me to form negative opinions about him. Now, I will admit that sense I don't know him, those opinions may be way off base, and honestly I hope this whole issue with the login attempts is a misunderstanding. I would hate to see what started as a rift between two people turn into a battle across three communities.

I have come to the conclusion that maybe too many of us are sticking our nose in here. Whoever the rat is definately deserves to be outed and toasted, but that's really as far as our concerns here should be addressed. I like Bill and Rod's banning of him seemed to me like he was just giving CP over to the dumbasses, but that's really not my place to say. I think if most of us take some time away from the keyboard, we'll reallize that we should let this thing play out between the parties directly involved.

This issue about "Admin Access Attempts" is a concern to me anyway. However, I cannot advocate burning down Rod before all the facts are known.

I've been guilty of tunnel vision and jumping to conclusions in the past (thinking corona gigante was Scotty , wailing on CockyHoskins WAY more than was necessary,etc.) so my suggestion is that we wait and see.

I would like to see another explanation from Rod. He may chose not to offer Hex one and that's his choice. I for one would like to see more information before I draw any conclusions.

There was a couple side trips with drakey and shaggy which were purely for entertainment but I've come to understand at least one of them a little better.
