We could do an "entry fee" of three quality sticks. Winner gets 70% of the total pot (number of sticks). Second place gets 20%. Third place gets 10%. At the end of the contest, everyone sends their three sticks to the winner, as determined by a moderator of the contest (me, unless someone else wants to do it).
We'll keep an asshat or grinch list for everyone who fails to send their sticks to the winners.

Alright, I have created the group.
In order to join the group, just go to http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/men and click on the "Sign Up" button to create a team (name your team the name you want to be known by, ie your username on cigarsmokers). After completing the registration, or if you already have a team, click the "Create or Join Group" button and follow the path to join an existing private group. Then, when prompted, enter the following information...

Password: hexmachine
Remember when it asks you to create a "pickset name" or "team" that is your user name, what will identify you to your picks.
By joining the group, you are agreeing to send three quality sticks (your discretion) to the winner.

I think we sould do four sticks each ranging from 8-12 a piece. Just a suggestion to open up disscussion. May be we can even go higher?

I think the original suggestion is just fine. My cigar budget is not like everyone else being that I am still in college and paying my way through as I go. If it goes to 8-12 dollars a stick I will abide by it though.Originally Posted by Spocimp

Ah, sorry Chuck, I've been busy with a few personal issues, work, etc. I started working on my brackets but never got them done.
Here's a couple of predicitions:
Syracuse loses their first round game.
Boston College in the final four.
UCLA in the final four.
Kent State over Pitt in the first round.
Xavier over Gonzaga in the first round.

Since there are only four of us competing, I do not think the 70% 1st, 20% 2nd and 10%3rd place will work mathematically.
