    Default Taking a Risk....hehehe

I know I'm pushing my luck for being brand spankin new on the site, but I thought I would take a risk and ask if anyone would like to go half's on a box of 1990 Vintage Rocky Patel's. So, is anyone interested in this? I'm down to my last 3 and I need to fill up part of my new humi.

Also, I'm assuming that some of you have done this before, so any suggestions to help make everything go smooth would be cool.

Why not try out CigarBid? Here is a nice 5-pack:

    http://www.cigarbid.com/auction/lot.cfm?lotID=335687

This 5-pack is regularly $25.00, so you can't beat the price. If this is not the size you want, just wait around and more will come in.

I am just providing you this as an alternative to doing a box split.

Also, you should try the Newbie Sampler. This would get you the trust and approval you would need in order to get someone to do a box split with you. I'm not saying that someone WON'T do one with you, only that it would be easier after that.

Oh, Mark, I was also wondering how your business is doing? It must be slow if you need to split a box of 1990's. I'd go "all in" and just buy the whole box, dude! Maybe save your splits for a BIG box!

    Just another thought...

You'd probably be better off getting involved in the Newbie Sampler Trade as was mentioned. You will get "your feet wet" and build a little credibility here.

Also it will give you the opportunity to try some different smokes.
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

I don't smoke many rockys but the ones I have come off of c-bid. You can get them there for pretty cheap.
