Greyhounds spend most of their time caged, with limited human interaction. Get one out and let them loose in a wide open space and good-bye. That is if they were ever trained/used for racing. Many of the rescues were never used for racing as they just didn't pass whatever criteria used to pick the racers. That's why they make good apartment dogs, regardless of their size.

I was just yanking yer chain Doc. Yes, they're great pets. Our dog (Abita Styx) raced quite seccessfully and was retired at 4 years old. When we adopted her, we actually signed an agreement that she would NEVER be let off a lead in an unfenced area. I look at her every day laying on the couch and keep thinking "Dayum, retirement must be awesome!!!"

You ever see one smile??
