if it's not getting a *woosh* sound when you open and close it then you will probably need a new one. And if there is a 2mm gap anywhere, you won't get a *woosh* sound cause air, and moisture, can escape to easily.
If it’s not too bad, you might consider getting some water proof silicon gel like they use to seal fish tanks with. That should create an air/humidity tight seal where the crack is. However, I would go with a new humidor if you can afford it.
But yeah, post a picture if you can so we can better diagnose the situation.

I took two pictures with my phone so quality might not be stunning

As you can see the entire right side+down side + righ-under corner are loose in having gaps varying between 0.5 and 2-3 mm
Furthermore, should i keep an extra sponge to humidify extra, or should i remove it since the humidifier i have is "sweating"?
If i were you, i would just get another humidor, unless you are something of a handyman. It's not worth the risk, especially if you keep expensive cigars in there.

unless you have access to a set of what is called in the trade "pipe clamps", a certain type of clamp used by woodworkers and cabinet makers. They are built on long pipes to allow you to tightly clamp larger objects easily.
Sounds and looks like the humidor was knocked "out of square".
You must also use a waterproof glue since the interior of the humidor is ....well.......humid! Their are several polyurethane based wp glues available on the market. You local Home Depot woodworking department could help you with this.
I agree with Yeagermeister. Go out and buy another one. Repairing the broken one will be too much hassle and paying someone to fix it would cost you as much as a new humidor.
How do I know this???? Sorry guys.....my Dad and Bro' are cabinet makers.
Anyone need brain surgery?
