Thread: Which would you choose

  1. Default Which would you choose

If you could have any cuban cigar what would it be...but wait there are restrictions.

No Siglo VI or IV, Monte #2, Partagas D. #4, and no limited edition or special anniversary sticks.

Thanks for the replies, happy puffing.

I had some Monte #1's in Cuba that in spite of my Newbieness, were very pleasureable smokes!!!

If you want to rule out Monte's entirely, I had a Romeo y Julieta Romeo #1 there that I enjoyed so much I brought back a box of 10 tubed. (Only 2 left, sighhhhhh )

I've told this story before here in the forum, but an ISOM RyJ #2 is what got me interested in REALLY smoking cigars on a regular basis. Since then, I've only had a few other ISOM, so I am not qualified to say anything except, I would love to get a 10-pack of anything ISOM RyJ tubed.

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure 2 or Vegas Robaina Famosos. the best robustos out there.

I love Bolivar corona gigantes and belicoso finos....great full body smokes with excellent sweet creamy/nutty earthy flavors.

I would have to say that my favorite would have to be the RyJ #2. It has a special place in my heart. As said previously, it was my first real smoke and is what really got me into the whole cigar deal.

I did have a Siglo IV in Cuba that was just a tad on the dry side (IMHO) but was such a nice smoke even the way it was, would have been my first choice.

As a note, I got that stick in the hotel gift shop in Cuba, and it cost me 9 CUC (convertible Cuban Peso). That's like $10 US and they're $30 CDN here in the stores.

Jeez I can't wait to go back there next year!!

I think i would choose, a Vega Robaina Don Alejandro, and if i want something more affordable, maybe a H.Upmann Corona Major.

Partagas Seleccion Privada No 1 from1997. Since those are no longer around I would recommend the 1999 version, these are quite tasty.
