Thanks Drew. I assume that's Heartfelt Beads you're talking about?? Cause I ordered some today. And this morning, the hygrometer read about 62 or 63% and I put a few drops of DW in the unit, so I should be cool for a few days.

Yes it is. Great place. I already have a half pound and the aluminum humidifier and am now considering buying another pound of beads.

Do beads ever need to be replaced, like crystals do? I'm considering beads now after my hydrometer started getting funny readings on the humidity. 59% up to 73%! WFT? I do use/used 50/50solution on my humdifier so maybe thats why. Thanks for the info.
