I prefer the classic toro size - 6 x 50. Of course, I don't mind 5.5 x 48-50 and think of them equally. These sizes take me to work or back, since they take about an hour.

I also like 6.5-7 x 48-50 (Churchill) for a nice Friday and Saturday evening smoke. I like to drink a few drinks and enjoy a nice long-lasting delight.

Lastly, I like the 4.5-5 x 48-50 (Robusto) for a quick smoke during the day or when I have a short drive somewhere.

The theme of my likes are the ring guage....I prefer about 48-50. Of course, some cigars I like have as low as 46 (Lonsdale perhaps) ring guages and as high as 52 (Belicoso). Mostly, when I try a new brand, I try to get as close to 6 x 50 as possible. That size fits my hand nicely and just seems like the size a cigar should be to me. The size of the cigar matters very much to me in making my selections.

My wife says size matters also. She must be talking about shoe size...

38 DD or larger... errr wait, you are talking about Cigars aren't you? My bad, guess Robusto for me. I never really have a chance to sit and smoke anything really large.

That was one of my reasons for asking. I didn't know if I was being picky or not because whenever I look at something now, I usually go to 5" (+/- 1/2") and 48-50 RG. In spite of my preferences around the house, I will probably keep a stock of Churchills or Lonsdales for golf.

I had a girlfriend once who said "Size doesn't matter as long as he can breath through his ears!".

    EDIT:

UKYFAN, I figured this would get to boobs sooner or later!!!!

    Ten inches, 72 ring gauge.

    But in cigars...

I like Robustos and Toros. If I have a lot of time on my hands, I may go for something longer, but I don't often have that much time on my hands...

And those Hemingway Short Stories are perfect quickies.

I'm a fan of bigger ring gauges. I wonder if that means something...

LMAO. Never thought of it in ring gauge.

Prefer Corona or Robusto generally - but churchills for milder smokes.

I like all sizes. I have many sizes, large and small in my humi. It all depends on how much time I have and how long I want to spend on it.

Toro, 6 X 50 or something fairly close is pretty average for me, though I am not picky and have lately been smoking shorter cigars sicne I've been smokign while driving. If I am just sitting down say at a pub I tend to pick something between 5 and 6 inches, but at least 54 ring. Not sure why, but fat sticks tend to find me when I go out with friends.
