I'll check my post again. What I meant is you want to put enough cigars in the beginning to fill it to at least 75%. Then keep it at that capacity until it balances. After you balance the humidor, then you don’t have to worry as much about how many smokes you have in the humi. It will stay balanced. You don’t want to empty it completely. However if you smoke it down to 50% capacity, it’ll still stay balanced and you don’t have to worry about spikes in the humidity.Originally Posted by Empire23
