Did anyone else notice, but NBC cut off the celebration pretty quick. I was dissapointed, didnt get to see everyone hoist the cup that I wanted. OLN should have still been covering it.

That was among the top 10 games I've ever seen. Inspite of the fact of the Oilers losing, it was an exciting 3 hours.
I just felt bad for the Oilers goalie; the 'Canes got three goals. first he was screened on and didn't have a chance, the second was a weird deflection and the third .......... , well, he was kind of 100 ft away from his net!!

They did show the hand shake and most of the hoisting but not all here in SC. Is that what you meant or did they cut it all out where you were?

from what i understand they cut live coverage because one of the canes was holding the cup and began to say "fucking right" right into the camera- they must have caught it in the two second delay and shut him off halfway through. but props the state of NC with its first pro sports championship ever!
