I'm generally managing to keep my humidor at between 62 and 68% (I have done the salt calibration and it reads 76%), but I find that it swings wildly and takes a long time to recover after I open the lid. I have a Don Salvatore humi with a green humidifier (I am assuming it's florist foam) and have used the 50/50 solution. I'd like to stabilize it a bit more and have recovery happen a bit quicker. I've looked through the posts and know you all seem to recommend beads. I have also thought about the Cigar Oasis XL, which is a lot more expensive. I don't have a problem spending the money if necessary, but what are the special considerations, if any, for dry climates and what would be the best long term solution? Humidity here in Denver area can get as low as 8-9% and 15-20% is not uncommon. Thanks
