Could you post some pics of the cigars, the boxes and the box code?

    The more detailed the better.

i will post them but tomorrow, because right now i don't have a camera , but the reason i ask you is that friend of mine was in cuba and delivered the boxes.. and he told me that the price there was 100 usd per box but bought them under the counter, and there are no codes on the bottom of the box ? is it possible those boxes to be real cuban cohibas but coming from the black cuban market? btw the cigars look and smell very good.

Definately Fakes. Although they still may be decent smokes and are probably made from Cuban tobacco.

But yes, they are fakes. A picture really isn't required.

Send them to CoventryCat86 - but no doubt they're fake, probably of Cuban tobacco and most likely farm rolled. Probably a decent cigar - maybe - if the roller knew what they were doing.

How is the construction? On a true Cuban Cohiba the construction is PERFECT (very smooth cigar, few if any veins, with a beautiful triple cap). And it should smoke very nicely (nice draw, lots of smoke - smoke is not harsh).

sound like fakes but, as said above, they are probably farm rolled and made with Cuban tobacco so I would set up a coolerdor, get some 70% beads for now and let them sit for at least five years. Then get some 65% beads and let them sit another year or two and give them a try.

    Smoke em !!!!!!
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

They Cohiba EL "2005 pyramid" is fake for sure. Cohiba didn't even release an EL smoke that year. They Pyramid was released in 2001, and then again this year in 2006. The band on the Siglo looks a little wonky. Two and a half dots and the imprinting isn't lined up correctly.

That only leads me to assume that if the other smokes were from the same place, that they are fake as well. Could you get us some pics of the boxes?

They actually look half-decently rolled. They may not taste too badly. Spark one up and if you like it, good.

Like has already been mentioned..... they are probably fake (Not real Cohibas).... But they are probably made with real Cuban tobacco. The are most likely "farm rolled", the bands don't look right.

I had what was probably a "farm rolled" Cuban from someone from another BB.... Although it wasn't a true Cohiba, it was still very tasty....

Smoke em..... just don't try and trade them or sell them.... and if you do offer any to anybody, make sure you tell the truth about where they came from and how you acguired them.

I would be even more suspicious of a box of Cohiba pyramides. That is a Edicion Limitada cigar from 2001. Or, as far as I know, only packaged with other Pyramides in special packages. Not a usual vitola for the Cohiba...

By all means - we'd love to see pictures! Thanks

Sorry... Didn't see the picture until after I posted this... The Pyramides is definitely fake. The others look suspicious as well, although it's really hard to tell because I cannot see the head that well. Construction does look very nice on those.

read post number 15, and then look at my post number 16.

And IIRC, the pyramides was produced for 2006 as well.

Produced as regular production? Or as an EL...
