    Default La Gloria Cubana churchill

I got this in a sampler. Thank heaven for small favors! I don't have four more to suffer through! A disappointment. A very loose draw, and a fast uneven burn. The ash flaked everywhere! Very annoying in the truck! To boot, it had a very "cheap bundled cigar" flavor. One dimensional and mild with little or no complexity. Worse than a Don Kiki Green label, but better than your average Te-Amo. I don't know what these cost, but it's likely too much.

I've had a couple unpleasant experiences with LGC. I've had them burn hot, and harsh, even when I do my best to smoke it slow. It tasted like i had lit a cedar stick on fire, and then try inhale it, for 50 minutes(it was the wavell). The maduro was chocolaty, but like poop spray, it only slightly covered up the harshness.

I was told that the series R were the only ones that were any good. If you get a chance give that a try and see if you like them better.
Family, Friends and a good cigar. Oh and some fishing too!

I have had pretty much the same issue, although the flavor was good, with the Corona Gorda. Pretty dissapointing. I did get several recomendations to let them age.

The Series R Maduro LGCs are very good. As for the regular line, the only one I've ever cared for is the Wavell Maduro. Now, the LGC Reserva Figurado maduros are fantastic!
