I planned on starting a thread at some point with pictures of everything, but for those of you who I haven’t spoken with in private here is a short version of the story:

I got a call from one of my reps a couple weeks back indicating that he had some good cigar's for me. I took him up on the offer. I ended up splitting up 2 of the boxes with a couple other BOTL's on the forum. A couple of rather obvious flaws were pointed out to me and I did some investigating. It turns out I bought ~$1300+ worth of fakes.

It's been a learning experience for me and the other guys involved. Luckily my rep and his associates are stand up individuals. They apparently got taken for a ride themselves, so I'm in the process of sending everything back for a full refund.

The moral of this story: Even if you trust the person you are getting cigars from, if they are not coming from an authorized Habanos S.A. dealer, 99% of the time they are going to be fakes.
