I love my Xicar three finger hard case. Leather wrapped and spanish cedar lined.
The Xicar cases I've seen are oval shaped tubes, but I heard that they don't dividers in the tube. I've not heard of ones with fingers though. I've seen Atoll ones that are tubes like Xicar but they come with dividers so that your cigars dont rattle around. What is the difference between hard case like the Xicar and a regular 3 finger leather case?Originally Posted by MCsommerreid
When I said "three finger" I meant that as the size, not the layout. You can hold 3 moderately sized cigars (or fit three fingers in it). The difference is that it's a hard shell and is lined in spanish cedar. I really do prefer it over the soft leather cases because I tend to sit on things, and the Xicar case has held up to many a squash.
The Xikar cases ARE sweet! Nice and sturdy.
For soft leather cases, I recommend the Cuban Crafters. VERY affordable, great quality and a lifetime warranty!
