    Default Hemmingway Question

OK, since I took up cigars seriously about 2-1/2 months ago, one of my favourite brands has been AF Hemmingway. I've only smoked about a couple of dozen, including a bunch of Short Storys, a couple of WOA naturals, 5 Classic Maduros and a couple of other sizes/shapes.

As I was sitting on the patio enjoying the last Classic I had, I started to think "Hey, of all the Hemmingways I've smoked, I've never had a bad one!" (Bad meaning burn issues, plugged, unravelling, tasteless, etc.)

Have I just been lucky, or do any other Hemmingway lovers find the same thing??

I can see myself in a year with a 150 or 200 humi for Hemmingways only.

That is one of the cigars I get the least complaints about.. and the least returns. I don't know about other B&M's but where i work, if you smoke one of our cigars and it's plugged, burns badly, or you have another legit complaint, we replace it no charge... I have never in 4 years had a hemingway returned (that I can remember, lol, I do have a long memory), altough I have had other Fuentes, returned.

I have never had a bad one myself. In Fact it was the first real cigar I enjoyed and it got me hooked on cigars since then. It really is a great smoke. I will be going out to buy a couple in the afternoon.

I have only had two and they both burned beautifully, though I'm picky about draw and poked one of them to loosen it up near the end.

I've never smoked on with a flaw. Some taste better than others. I like the Signature Maddies best.

They're pretty good but not outstanding in my book. I like the UTS the best.

By the way, "Hemingway" only has one "m" not two.

One of my favorite smokes is the Best Seller and a dble capaccino on a Saturday morning. I like the WOA, dark or nat. I buy the very occasional signature, but IMO they lack the flavor of the smaller sizes.
