eBay is a good place to find humidors. Tupperware works fine too if you don't want or need anything fancy. I just store my cigars in large coolers and use "beads" for humidification. You can get them from Heartfelt Industries.

If you buy a used (or new) on eBay or go with a tupperware container or a small cooler, use beads.

That is good advice from CC. I recently had a near disaster by using the green foam that came with my humidor. The beads work fantasticly and I would whole heartedly recommend them.

As far as some good sticks to try, Carlos Torano is my personal favorite line. If you want samplers, you can try here at the "Devil's Site".

Welcome to CigarSmokers...... excellent advice from CC, make sure you stay away from Thompson's and their Specials that include cigars and a humidor (Their humidors are crap)

Get in on the Newbie Sampler trade.... great place to try some other types of cigars
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

    Colter,

Welcome to the forum from a smoker down the road from you. I lived in Ogden from the age of 1 until I turned 23 and have been in Salt Lake for the last 12 years. My folks and other family and friends are still in Ogden and I try to get up there as often as I can.

My Dad can attest there is not any decent place to buy smokes in O-Town. There are a few great shops in SLC, but expect to spend (at least) 35% above MSRP. PM me if you plan to shop in SLC and I can give you more detail.

A good way to get a sampler going is to order some singles on-line. Prices for singles are very fair through seriouscigars.com and ovtc.com. Make sure you order enough to offset S&H charges. I am sure the BOTLs here can list several others.

    Again, welcome!
