the tupperware is the less expensive option, and i would go with that for the time being. i personally use this option myself. i am in a tropical country and don't need to fuss all that much about storing my cigars at the perfect humidity. lucky me, i guess.
always remember to buy a humidor that is bigger than you think you would need. by the looks of it, you will outgrow a 50-count in no time. i suggest you use a good sealing tupperware for the meantime, and when you get the hang of it, and have saved some precious bucks, you can splurge on a bigger quality humi.
i myself dont like the taste of cedar in my stogies. i find them a bit too sour and pungent. but if it works for you, follow Roham's advice and stick some spanish cedar blocks in your plastic humi. it will also help regulate the humidity inside.
