After several PM's back and forth, whining and sniveling on my part, flaming and cursing on Maui's part, Maui OK'ed my P/T. To make up for my shoddy offerings Maui insisted I add two more gars to the pass list, so the P/T and new list will look like this:

    T-Sig 1...P-Boli BF
    TGriffins..P-LFG Chisel
    Add
    Partagas LE 04
    Graycliff Expresso Pirate

Attached are my pics taken today. The first one is of the most common desert varmit we have around here. The rex is a real pest, gets in the garden, shits on the lawns, and eats small children. The second is in a local B&M. I didn't have the huevos to brings the gars into the shop for the pics.

My son and I had such a good time taking the pass pics we shot a few more to let you guys get a little more desert "flavor".

The first is a fun contrast. In June and July, a person can take a tram from the desert floor, where the temp can be 110, to the snow on the mountain in the back ground. Right now it over 100 and theres probably 3-4 feet of snow on that peak.

The next two are pics of a common cash crop raised in the desert. The plants shown in the picture actually grow wild and act as natural electrical wind generators. The ones shown are about 150 feet tall. All the farmers have to do is attach wires to the roots of the plant and harvest the electricity. These are a favorite forage of the Rex.

The last pic is my house and the neighborhood we live in. Note the hardy "Rex" fence around the houses to keep the pesky varmits out.

    Hey guys,

I've already let DR know that I'll be leaving town on Thursday night after work, and won't be back untill Sunday night. Picking up some CE at a conference in San Francisco.
I think the box will reach me before then, but even if it doesn't there will be someone here to recieve it so it doesn't sit out in the heat.
It really shouldn't slow things down by more than a couple of days, if at all.

Just letting everyone know now, so when I'm scarce for a few days no one starts to hunt me down.

DRat, great pic's. I've almost forgotten about the wind farms and what the vast expanse of the desert really looks like. I'll have to circulate those pictures to the full-blooded easterner's out here who havent traveled much.

Just signed for a box of cigars. All arrived in great condition. Along with some very nice riders from DR.

Will post p/t's later along with pics.

I'm waiting for DVM to post photos of himself snipping some poor dog or cat... of course, with the cigar & lei somewhere in the vicinity...

    Hey Mauied,

With DR's add-ins, the new tupperdoor is packed to the breaking point. I'm gonna get a larger one to swap it with. I will attempt to get one large enough that it might make it the rest of the way without needing another swap, and still try to keep shipping costs to a minimum.

I'll post my P/T's now so ya'll can approve, or not. T/ I've been wanting to try a Graycliff Espresso, and P/ Padron 1926 M #9. And another T/ Partagas LE 04 (ISOM), and my P/ Cohiba Sublimes Edicion Limitada '04 (ISOM).

I won't send the box on to Basil untill Monday so as to minimize heat exposure.

    Digi-pics to follow later tonight.
