    Default Cigar Press box sets?

Anyone seen these yet? Local B&M just got a HUGE shipment of these.

I saw H. upmann, RYJ, Monte, and several others. Basically it is an original Cigar press and each "cigar mold" has an individually wrapped cigar from the selected brand. I think it was an interesting display item. Depending on what brand you buy, it has that particular logo burned into the wood.

You can see they are worn and have the markings from the factory. The owner told me some of the manufacturers are switching to an injection molded press now. :( Hopefully that does not compromise flavor or quality. IMO it seems as if it is all in the wood...

I have no idea. The cigars in them seem to be of a standard variety. Idiot me should have snapped pix since I had my digital on me. I will go back this week hopefully and snap some pics. He still did not have prices since they were just being delivered and had no idea on what his cost on them was.

More or less these are sold as a gift item and so that everyone sees what a cigarmold looks like. On the top shelf of this picture from SLC's Cigar Den are 2 molds. It's not a marketing gimick so much with these brands as a gift item and something to stimulate your interest in learning how cigars are made. I ordered them around xmas and they made great gifts. They come 10 cigars to a mold. Typically sell at single stick retail.

I bought one of these before the Holidays as a present to myself. Like Cigargirl said they cost the same as if I had bought the single sticks (so the press is essentially free). It is just a noveltty item but kind of cool when you are explaining how cigars are made to a newbie.

    Never saw them before.

My apologies for the late info. They had just gotten them in the warehouse a couple weeks ago.

Np, I'm sure there were a few shops that didn't have them. Here in SA, one Cigar shop carried them and the other didn't and they are both owned by the same person!

Thanks for the site Guado! But now you've done it, after seeing the presses-I gotta have one .
