Greetings from Lafayette, Indiana!!

Well we made it to Lafayette....one damned fine city if I do say so myself!


The building that we bought (4,840 sq ft) won't be ready for us to start working on undil August 1st, we've got a tenent in there right now and their lease is up on July 31st.


In the meantime we're in a temp apartment until the new apartment is ready for us...it's about 5 doors down from our store. Nothing like making a move to a move to another move.
It's going to take 3-5 months to get everything ready to open up the coffee shop, then we'll get the roasting room (right in the front window) ready to go. The building is 40 ft wide so both the shop and roaster will be visable from the street. Then around Feb or March we'll start on the back of the space with a 2,200 sq ft apartment for ourself's. My wife is in charge of that end of the construction so you know it's going to look great! That should be our final move.


I've got a big roasting happening on Monday and with a little bit of luck the beans should be in my hands by next Friday...and yes, I'm taking backorders and will be more than happy to take care of each of you as I have in the past.
