Cause you're smokin the wrong end. Turn em around and light em the other way .

I was wondering why they were so hard to light. I'll give that a try tonight and report back.

Cgardan is right, it's the tar build-up, happens much easier with punched cigars than cut.

I do cut, but I guess since I am a slobberin' fool, my saliva is creating a tar trap.

On vcuts, small snips and punch cuts,I tend to cut them fully at just past the half way mark while smokeing or if tar gets built up to much at the end,a simple cut fixes.
