I received a Cuban Hoyo de Monterey as a graduation gift. It smells really strong. Any feedback on this smoke appreciated.

Great cigar. Especially the Petit Robusto. I find them to be medium to full bodied. Also they don't seem to be rolled as tight as most other cubans generally. What size did you get?

Seems like a churchill as it is pretty long.Originally Posted by Roham

For me the Hoyos all kind of have the same flavor profile across marcas. I find the Le Hoyos to be a little "richer" but if it is a Churchill, it should be a very nice cigar. And while it may be medium, it has plenty of falvor with a little age. For me they also tend to move up the power scale a little as you smoke them, but they don't get bitter.Originally Posted by TSoprano
