    Default Help Pick Some Smokes!!!

    ---Question Closed---

So I won CgarDan's contest and I need to pick out 5 cigars of a value indivdually up to $25 (non-ISOM) and have the forum vote on which one I should receive. Well, I am new so picking nice quality cigars is not my cup of tea as I am not familiar w/ prices and such. So please help me choose 5 cigars by listing a few that you would choose to put on. Please note, I prefer medium bodied to medium-full smokes with lots a flavor, especially a creamy/nutty type of flavor. An example of a smoke I love is the AF Short Story or Brazilia Gol!

Thanks, now stop reading this and post dangit!

Sorry, not really my area of expertise but here are a few:

    Carlos Torano 1959 Exodus (Gold)
    Oliva "O" Bold (red band)

Sid, help me here, what were those awesome Rocky Patels you sent me? EDIT: "Vibe" was that it?

Sid better chime in here, he'll give you some great suggestions.

CT and Oliva O are very nice sticks, as are RP 1992s, Ashton VSGs, and Padron Anniversarios, there is a 40th Anniversary Padron 1926 that happens to be exactly $25.

    Cheers!
Look at that... I plumb got myself 5 raisins and 7 termites.

I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

I'll agree with the Exodus 1959 but you have to let them rest first.

Quick question...when people say "let them rest", what kind of time frame is that? Two weeks? A month? Two months? Longer?
