I got this same speech when i first started out. Just make sure that you rember to use the search function for quetions like that. It is your friend and it wants to make your and our life easier. And to reask what BPP asked, i hope you are of legal age, or you should not even be in this forum.

I just want to make something clear. We don't mind questions. In fact, exchange of information is what this board is designed for. We encurage questions and participation from new members. Many of us are on other boards also and after a year or more you start to see the same questions over and over and over and well you get the picture.

When we say use the search function, we are not saying it because we don't want to answer your questions. We are saying that because that question has been asked again and again and for many of us, we are screaming, "I just answered that question a few weeks/month ago"

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. Sometime this year, someone is going to start a thread that will have "Favorite Cigar ....." Like the one that was started in April.

I posted a response that looked like this...

Here are a few Threads that others have started with this question or more specifics about cigars.

Someone will start a new favorite thread with out looking to see if one has stared. I just found all these using the search function. Hope this helps to understand why we do thing the way we do.
