Sweet pics. Highly resembles a sweat shop, well then again it is cheap labor in a foreign country so I guess it is?

Either way I talked to oen of my best friends and we decided we will definitely be going to honduras soon(after my wedding of course). The girls can go to the beach while the guys go to the cigar factories! w00t!

And on a sad note I STILL did not get to try out the RP Old world stick.

So they are all rolling and no one is smoking a cigar. Not even a funky 1/3 of the braided one (yep to tired to look up the spelling of that one).

Something is off there. They probably all made nikes until they were 25 and then move on to cigars.

And not one of them is smiling.

I'd be grinning like a pig in shit in there.

Actually the rollers dont get to smoke. We did tho...At one point we had 4 cigars going at the same time and walking around the rollers. That was a blast.

Those are some awesome pics Mr. Peat. It is cool to see the drying racks are made out of old timbers, no high tech shit going on there...
I was wondering something about those people who roll, though. I don't imagine that they can wear gloves when they roll cigars, probably requires a fine sense of touch. So, I wonder how much nicotine these people absorb throughout the course of the day from the natural oils of the tobacco. I mean are these people just fried the first week they work there? And when they retire (or are fired, or whatever) do they have some massive withdrawl?

I cant say how much their bodies asborb during the course of the day but at the RP Factory they are limited to 200 to 250 cigars a day for a team of 2. The ones that roll the maduro's, their fingers looked like they had dipped them in a dark oil and then stained. But when they rolled the maduro's, they pour some oil onto the wrapper before rolling. Its pretty impressive to see and I may have a picture that shows it. I will go through them and see.
