    Default A. Fuente 858 Maduro

Did a search and couldn't find a review, so I thought I'd put my impressions down. I tend to judge cigars based on my two favorite Fuentes, the Hemingway Signature and the Petit Corona. The 858 is also a great cigar to me and comes close to the Signature. The first two thirds is a mild smoke with a great tobacco taste. The last third comes alive with a little spice to finish the cigar nicely. Great cigar.

By far my fav 858 is the sun grown... Too bad they're so danged hard to find!!! (I haven't tried the rosado yet - those are even harder to get a hold of - me thinks I'd like it because I'm partial to the rosado wrapper).

If you like the 858 - try the Partagas Rosado's - to me, they are a similar type smoke - and very pleasant as well!!!

Some reviews can be found here. I like the maduros better than the naturals. And like ggeise, I'm partial to the SG wrappers.

Had my first one this weekend and your review is right on. The change in profile is very pronounced over the last half of the smoke and that is with a cold and limited taste. I cant wait to try the other two I have sitting since January.
