    Default Texas GOV

I wasn't really paying much attention to Kinky until someone told me he's a cigar smoker and has some plans for smoking reform. Does anyone know if he's actually serious about this or what he plans to do?

Austin and Dallas have already bit it as far as the bans go, but if this guy can get me back into the Yellow Rose with my cigars I might have to vote for him.
    End of line.

I plan to vote for him cause neither party in TX has done shit about the property tax situation here, so I'll give anyone else a chance. Plus he smokes cigars so he can't be all bad.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

The only thing is I actually like Rick Perry because as an Ag and a cadet, and having met him a few times, I can attest to his background, which is the same as mine and solid as well.

I like him. He's got personality, unlike the average stuffed shirt politician.

I just read that he is against building the Trans Texas Corridor, which I don't agree with at all. Unfotunatley I don't think many people understand how important roads are.

What ever happened to politicians with personality? It seems these days politicians are interested in having the most boring public persona they possibly can.

There's nothing wrong with a personality. I always liked guys that shoot from the hip, and this guy does. But I don't see why he wants to '86 a massive project that will help connect this huge state.

Roads and improving road technology is basically responsible for every great achievment by mankind, and this dude wants to stop one of the most ambitious projects ever. This will probably be enough for me to stay with Perry.

However, I do like the idea of gambling, and bio-diesel sounds kind of interesting, but I don't know anything about it.

Another thing that kind of worries me about him is I'm afraid he might start appointing people like Willie Nelson to office. While I love Willie, I don't necessarily want him making statewide energy policy decisions.
    End of line.

Speaking of no personality, I always thought Rick looked like a cardboard cut-out in this photo. Anyone else agree?
