I like these cigars as well. I did a review on another site and I think I also gave them a "91"
I like the 1990s more than the 1992s.

That's what my tobbaconist said. He didn't have any '92's for me to try anyways![]()
Well, your tobacconist and I agree on which Rocky Patels taste better!! I honestly can't remember exactly WHY I like the 1990's better but I think I found the wrappers on the 1990's to be a little "sweeter" which is a quality I enjoy.
The 1990's have a Honduran broadleaf wrapper while the 1992's have a Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper.
Someone posted on another cigar board that they had tried the Rocky Patel 1990 "2nds" and he thought they were GREAT!!
For a domestic cigar the regular Rocky Patels are a little pricey but you can get a bundle of 15 Rocky Patel 1990 Robusto 2nds for $39.95 from CigarsInternational.
I'm going to take a chance on those in the near future![]()
When ever I get them, I'll shoot you a PM to see if you might be interested in trying a couple.
I really enjoy a 92 petite corona during my lunch hour on occasion. I do have to agree that in the larger gauges the 90's are a bit sweeter.
Even though I have never smoked a 92 I ordered a box. Should be here any day now. Can't wait![]()
