The only thing I can see is that when it is a "movie clip" it almost always plays, but when it is a "video clip" or a "windows media clip" it may or may not play, usually not. I think it is mostly avi files that are screwing up.

Norton 2006. I also just tried defragging my drives and that didn't do anything either.
