Nah, drew is right. The pompey pillar was inscribed by Clark and named after Sacajaewa's (SP?) son.

It was a good contest, but it was just more like an open book test back in school.

Yea I was thinkg while I was searching, that I should refresh the page every few minutes to see if someone had already posted the answers. Wish I had, would've saved me some time and headache. lol

Only problem is that Brent Musburger was not a native. He was born in Portland, Oregon. The only other one I could find who spent time in Butte was Matt Winer. All the other answers are the ones I came up with.
