    Default Coolerdor Hybrid

A couple of questions to those who use coolerdors.

I just saw an ad from Target where you can get a 25 galon storage tote for $8

    here is te link

Q1: will it work just as a coolerdor ?
Q2: assuming I am storing boxes in this or collerdor why should I line up the walls with cedar ?

Storage totes like that don't have an airtight seal. The seal is actually pretty loose. I have those in my basement. Wait until late season, you can get a large cooler on clearance if you keep your eyes open. I picked mine up for $7 at wal-mart in the hunting section. They also have digital thermometer/hygrometers for about $6. As long as you keep cedar cigar boxes in the cooler, you don't need to line the walls.

I am thinking of making a coolerdor and using the Blank Cigar Boxes from Cigarmony to put my cigars in, so I don't have to line it. Do you guys beleive that's a good way to go as far as price of the boxes over getting sheets of cedar?

Brian to be honest most B&Ms sell empty boxes for $1 or $2 ask your local tobacconist if they have any they might even gift them to you if you buy some stuff from them.

The last place I lived had a B&M, but there isn't one here in Winchester. Closet is in Lexington and I hardly ever go down there. I could just order cigars that come in boxes I supposed and use the cedar out of them, then order the bundle cigars
